Salado Chamber of Commerce Announces 2023 Board of Directors

Salado, Tx – October 6, 2022, The Salado Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the new officers and directors for the 2023 business year.

New Director, Theresa Schwab. Ms. Schwab, a Central Texas native, is a partner in the realty company, BuddySchwab Group of All City Real Estate with its headquarters in Salado, Texas.

New Director, Sam Dowdy. Mr. Dowdy is owner and general manager of Coppera Plumbing & Commercial Servicesfocusing on commercial business throughout Central Texas with offices in San Antonio, Taylor, and San Angelo, Texas.

New Director, Nicole Pirc. Ms. Pirc is Chief Executive Officer & Founder of NUMBERHUB, LLC, a small business consulting firm focused on financial operations and data security based in Salado, Texas. Mrs. Pirc will also be serving on the marketing committee.

New Director Christy Goodfellow. Ms. Goodfellow is a resident and longtime business owner of Christy’s of Salado,A Ladies’ Boutique located in Salado, Texas.

Other Directors include Jennifer Abraham, Hillary Glossup, Sarah Sharp and Laura Hargrove.

The 2023 officers are Deanna Whitson, Chairman, Leslie White, Vice Chairman, Theresa Kuntz, Secretary and Larry Templin, Treasurer.

“We are very excited to have these strong community business members join the Board of Directors,” said DeannaWhitson, 2023 Chairman. “In keeping with our commitment to cultivate leadership and advocate for our members, we look forward to the perspective and energy these new directors will bring to the Board.”

The purpose of the Salado Chamber of Commerce is to support the business environment in Salado and surrounding areas by actively promoting member businesses, creating opportunities for leadership development, and advocating for business growth.
