2025 Salado Candidate Forum

Chamber of Commerce to host Village of Salado Candidates for Board of Alderman.

Salado, Texas – February 19, 2025– Tuesday, April 8, 2025, starting at 6:00 p.m.

The Salado Chamber of Commerce will host the 2024 Candidates at a question and answer forum at the Salado Middle School Cafeteria.

Alderman candidates running include Neil Dunch, Jesse Mondragon, Gail Allard II, JoAnn Purser, James Lassiter, Scott Hamilton and Allen Sandor.

Moderator- Nancy Best, will introduce the candidates at the beginning of the session.

Each candidate will have (4) minutes for opening remarks which may include biographic information, platform information or any other pertinent information they wish to impart. Questions will be collected from the audience for each group, fielded and given to the moderator for the candidates to answer. Each candidate will be given (2) minutes to answer. Candidates will rotate during the process. At the end of the question/answer period, in reverse order to the introductions by Nancy Best, each candidate will be given (2) minutes for closing remarks.

Candidates for the Library Board of Directors will also be recognized. Candidates include Rebecca Michele Hupert, Christine Mae Lanman, Philip Ray Linder, Robert John Macko, Jr., Jill Christy McKinney, Barbara Elizabeth Morris, Dana Marianne Rojas and Stephen Andrew Sequeira.
