19th Annual Salado Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament
SALADO, TEXAS, June 28, 2023 – The 19th Salado Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Tournament will be held Monday, October 17th at the Mill Creek Country Club in Salado. The tournament benefits the Salado Education Fund for senior scholarships.
It’s an honor to have R&R Roofing again for this year’s Platinum Title sponsorship. The Silver Title sponsorship is still open so there is still time to sign on to this exciting event.
Another fun event is the Helicopter Ball Drop sponsored by Horizon Bank beginning at 11:30am with Kachemak Bay Flying Service flying over the golf course and dropping over 1000 marked golf balls. The ball closest to the hole will award the numbered winner $1000. Raffle tickets for balls can be purchased in lots of 5 tickets for $20 or 1 ticket for $10 at the event or at www.salado.com.
The Hole-In-One is sponsored by Don Ringler Automotive in Temple with the winner earning $20,000 towards a new vehicle purchase.
The shotgun start for the golf tournament is at 12-noon with registered teams of four players. The team fees include four players for $440, and single players $125. Hospitality and Beverage sponsors, First Community Title, and Budweiser, will be onsite for refreshments throughout the day as well as various tee-box hosts.
Golf teams and sponsors are invited to the After Party at Johnny’s Steaks & BBQ, for dinner and prizes.
