“Expressions of Love” Art Show & Sale

The Salado Cultural Arts District is proud to present the “Expressions of Love” Art Show & Sale displaying many of the Salado areas best artist’s 12”x12” creations in a wide variety of media. The above examples are by Salado Artists Sheryl Russell and Jill Shipman. These pieces, along with many other artists work will be for sale at the Heart for the Arts evening event on Thursday, February 13^th and will continue to be displayed and available for sale at the Salado Museum from Friday, February 14^th through Thursday, February 20^th during the hours of 10:00 AM through 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Artists interested in taking part in the “Expressions of Love” event should email organizer Kay Griffith at Kaygriffithart@gmail.com. She will be happy to send you information. The deadline for submissions is Monday, February 10^th.

The Grand Opening & Introduction of the “Expressions of Love” Art Show & Sale begins at the Heart for the Arts Celebration to be held on Thursday, February 13^th, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Salado Museum and College Park located at 423 South Main Street, Salado. There will be music, Italian dinner/dessert and presentations to create a romantic and memorable evening. The evening event begins with a Meet & Greet starting at 6:00 PM including wine and hors d'oeuvre with a dinner including Salad and Chicken Parmesan served at 6:45 after which there will be a short presentation along with a scrumptiousChocolate Dessert.

Tickets are $45 per person and are for sale at https://centraltexastickets.com/events/have-a-heart-for-the-arts-2-13-2025 and at the Salado Museum. The individual artists, the Salado Cultural Art District and the Salado Museum & College Park Salado will be the beneficiaries of this event.
