The second weekend in October has long been an eagerly anticipated time for Salado’s annual “Christmas in October” shopping event. Again this year the Salado Ladies Community League is excited to provide a fun way to shop local for beautiful clothing and unique, one-of-a-kind gifts for your whole Christmas list. You’ll enjoy a day out with your besties ambling along the lovely sidewalks from shop to shop in the charming Village of Salado, Texas. This year’s event is supported by many of your favorite Salado businesses, and a shuttle will be available to transport you from parking to shopping areas throughout each day. ONLY 250 PASSPORTS AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT!! Each $25 Passport entitles you to collect a special gift from each of the participating businesses you visit while shopping that day. Use your Christmas in October shopping bag (included with your ticket purchase) to gather your goodies while enjoying the holiday atmosphere in the many participating shops along the Salado “Magic Mile.” The Passport will include a listing of the participating businesses and a map showing where they are located. Your Passport will be punched by each shop visited, and visiting every listed shop will enable you to participate in the door prize drawing held at the end of the two day event. The Christmas in October Jingle Walk takes place on two days: Friday, October 7 and on Saturday, October 8 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. both days. By purchasing the Passport you are entitled to shop on both days. ONLY 250 PASSPORTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT (limit 6 per person). To purchase your passport, starting on September 1, 2022, visit CentralTexasTickets.com and click on the Salado Christmas in October Jingle Walk event. Passports will be available for pick up in Salado, at the Salado Civic Center (601 N. Main Street) on Friday or Saturday, by showing your printed or digital receipt at the welcome table.
